Decent N-S gradient across SBA County were still producing gusty advisory level NW-N winds across the western Santa Ynez Mountains and the southwestern coast of SBA County, and a Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6am PDT there. Some clouds may also push into portions of Ventura County for a few hours as well. Clouds have been slow to develop south of Point Conception, but were finally beginning to organize across coastal and valley areas of L.A. Low clouds were fairly widespread on the Central Coast and in the Santa Ynez Valley early this morning. Minor adjustments were made to reduce the coverage of stratus tonight. Another round of Sundowner winds are expected tonight, and will probably need another wind advisory for this evening over western portions of southern Santa Barbara coast. Expecting another round of cool high temperatures with the typical warm spots struggling to reach the low 80s. Skies should clear out quickly over LA County this morning, with sunny conditions for the rest of the day. The sounding at LAX still shows a marine layer depth around 3500 feet, but the inversion has weakened considerably leading to a more scattered cloud pattern. Marine layer clouds are seriously lacking this morning as the low system pushing through has disrupted their formation. A warming and drying trend is expected begin Monday as winds become easterly, with additional warming possible by midweek. Night to morning marine layer clouds will be limited in coverage this weekend, but should begin to expand Tuesday. By Sunday, conditions will begin warming as the low moves further east.
